স্বাদে রুই কাতলের চেয়ে বেশি হলেও মুক্ত জলাশয়ের কালিবাউস পাবেন কই ? বাজারে চাষের কালিবাউস পাওয়া গেলেও নদনদী, হাওয়ার বাঁওড়ে, লেকের কালিবাউস একদমই কম দেখা যায়। তাই চাইলেও এই মাছের স্বাদ নেয়া হয়না কারন এটা এখন বিলুপ্তপ্রায় । যে আল্প কিছু যায়গায় এখনো এর অস্তিত্ব টিকে আছে তার মধ্যে রাঙ্গামাটির কাপ্তাই লেক অন্যতম।
